Central drive unit added to standard conveyor design
Advance Automated Systems have added an alternative to their standard conveyor range by developing an underslung drive unit for the standard belt conveyors.
The underslung drive unit was designed primarily to allow the use of 38mm diameter idler rollers at either end of the conveyor to aid product transfer onto and off the conveyor. The drive unit houses a 113mm diameter drive roller and can be fitted, within reason, anywhere along the underside of the conveyor.
