Stainless Steel Conveyors

The stainless steel conveyor offers longer life through being made of a metal that resists corrosion so extending component life and reducing general wear and tear compared to other materials.

Either shaft mounted motors or stainless steel drive drums can be used to power the stainless steel conveyor, and these are ideal for food production environments where hygiene is an important consideration as suitable, easily cleaned FDA approved PU or plastic modular belts can be used. Stainless steel can also tolerate frequent exposure to water when cleaning production equipment to maintain required standards of hygiene.

In common with other conveyor belt types, this stainless steel type can be made to the client’s specification incorporating various add-ons and accessories such as side guides, end stops and castors along with electrical options including basic starting and stopping units and PLC control.
