Aluminium Belt Conveyors

Advance aluminium belt conveyors provide a very safe, reliable and easily maintained option for a multitude of industries and applications. Manufactured out of extruded aluminium, driven by either end mounted motorised drive drums, centrally mounted drive drums or shaft mounted motor gearboxes, they are an extremely effective materials handling solution.

The modular design of the aluminium belt conveyor makes it very easy to expand, change or add to at a later date. It also makes it extremely easy to change a belt or drive should they become damaged once in production.

The Advance aluminium belt conveyor range are extremely reliable, low maintenance and more than capable of coping with a wide variety of handling applications.

There are two main models of standard aluminium belt conveyor, the A880 conveyor is the lighter duty of the two whilst the A8120 conveyor is a strong, robust, heavy duty alternative.

A880 Medium Duty Belt Conveyors

The A880 series medium duty belt conveyors are a very versatile range of belt conveyors, easily modified to suit specific applications and very low maintenance. The belts come with adtrack belt guidance system, improving belt life and making the conveyor safer for operators.

The medium duty belt conveyor series comes in two standard configurations :

End Drive - The standard, and most cost effective, configuration is to have an 80mm diameter drive drum at one end of the conveyor and an 80mm or 38mm diameter idler roller at the other end.
Central Drive - For situations where small product is feeding onto and off the conveyor we can put 38mm diameter terminal rollers at both ends and move the drive underneath the conveyor.

All A880 medium duty belt conveyors can be manufactured with bespoke leg frames (for additional height adjustments), feet or castors, with adjustable or fixed side guides, end stops, under-guarding and a full range of electrical control options.

Conveyor Width

The A880 aluminium belt conveyor can be manufactured in standard widths from 330mm increasing in 50mm increments up to 730mm. Other widths can be catered for, please contact the sales department for advice.

Conveyor Length

The A880 aluminium belt conveyors can be manufactured to suit any particular length you require, the minimum we can manufacture this conveyor to is 500mm. The maximum length the conveyor can be manufactured to is very much dependant on the width, speed required and weight going on the conveyor.

Conveyor Drive

The A880 series conveyor is driven by an 80mm diameter motorised drive drum, housed within the conveyor frame itself. It can be either end-driven with the 80mm drive at one end and either an 80mm idler roller or 38mm idler roller at the other end or it can be centrally driven. The central drive unit is often utilised where transfer points are an issue, the conveyor comes with 38mm diameter rollers at either end with the drive roller housed underneath the conveyor.

A8120 Aluminium Belt Conveyors

The A8120 aluminium belt conveyor is a medium/heavy duty belt conveyor, built for it’s strength and robustness it can cope with a wide variety of materials handling applications. It is regularly used for larger conveyor systems and for fully automated production lines as well as stand alone conveyors. Due to it’s versatility and robustness the A8120 series belt conveyor is the perfect choice for high/constant throughput applications where lengthy downtimes could be costly.

All A8120 heavy duty belt conveyors can be manufactured with bespoke leg frames (for additional height adjustments), feet or castors, with adjustable or fixed side guides, end stops, under-guarding and a full range of electrical control options.

Manufactured from 120mm high extruded aluminium, the A8120 conveyor has a 113mm diameter motorised drive roller and can come with either a 113mm diameter idler roller or a 38mm diameter idler roller.

The A8120 Conveyor is ideal for larger conveyor systems and it’s modular design makes it very easy to build and expand upon.

Conveyor Drive

The A8120 aluminium belt conveyor is driven by a 113mm diameter motorised roller, housed in one end of the conveyor frame. There is also an option for moving the drive unit underneath the conveyor if smaller diameter end rollers are required.
